Visit of the Delegation of the Republic of Tajikistan
Today, within the framework of an official visit, a governmental delegation of the Republic of Tajikistan visited the Constitutional Court of Georgia. The guests were welcomed by the Vice President of the Constitutional Court of Georgia Mr. Vasil Roinishvili, Head of the Legal Provision and Research Department Mr. Avtandil Kiladze and Senior Assistant to a Judge Mr. Giorgi Khazalia.
The delegation being comprised of the Deputy Minister of Energy and Water Resources of the Republic of Tajikistan, the Head of the Legal Department of the Executive Office of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, the Head of the Legal Department of the Majlisi Oli (Parliament) of the Republic of Tajikistan received information on the case law the Constitutional Court of Georgia related to appealing the decisions made by the Georgian National Energy and Water Supply Regulatory Commission (GNERC).
The visit of the inter-agency delegation responsible for developing Tajikistan’s Energy Code aims to familiarize itself with and exchange best practices related to Georgia’s legal and organizational frameworks, governance models, and approaches to managing, regulating, and overseeing the energy sector.
