Members of the Constitutional Court of Georgia met  Professors and Students of Shota Rustaveli State University

 

 

 On 27 October 2007 members of the Constitutional Court of Georgia John Khetsuriani and Ketevean Eremadze met with the professors and students of  Shota Rustaveli State University.

John Khetsuriani talked to the professors and students about the importance of moving of the Constitutional Court from Tbilisi to Batumi. At the same time the presentation of the  book 'From Independence Towards the Legal State'  by Khetsuriani was held.

The book comprises the articles, publicistic letters, reports and interviews by John Khetsuriani depicting the problems connected with the late 20th and early of 21st  century Restoration of Independence and building of Legal State. Selected works are designed for the lawyers and the people interested in History of Georgia

Judges of the Constitutional Court and administration of the Shota Rustaveli State University made prospects for future cooperation. Rector of the University Professor Vladimer Baladze welcomed the continuation of such meetings. Judges of the Constitutional Court promised the intellectual assistance – delivering lectures for the students of law.

John Khetsuriani presented the signed books to the University library.
