Memorandum of Understanding signed between the Constitutional Court of Georgia and Saint Andrew the First-Called Georgian University of the Patriarchate of Georgia
Today, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the Constitutional Court of Georgia and Saint Andrew the First-Called Georgian University of the Patriarchate of Georgia. The memorandum was signed by the President of the Court Mr. Revaz Nadaraya and the Rector of the University Mr. Irakli Brachuli.
The memorandum considers implementation of joint educational and research projects, sharing of resources and support for the training of highly qualified professionals.
The President of the Constitutional Court and Judge of the of the Constitutional Court Ms. Eva Gotsiridze who also serves as the Head of Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) program at Georgian University were hosted by the fully authorized representative of the University’s founder His Holiness and Beatitude Ilia II Catholicos-Patriarch of All Georgia Bishop Iakob Archbishop of the Bodbe Diocese together with the Rector of Georgian University Mr. Irakli Brachuli.
The meeting was also attended by the Vice-Rector of the University Mr. Archil Kanchaveli, Dean of the School of Humanities and Law Mr. Papuna Guruli, Deputy Dean Khatuna Kukhalashvili and Co-Head of the Bachelor’s Law Program Ms. Ketevan Khurtsilava. The participants discussed important aspects of cooperation that are essential for the professional development of future lawyers.
The President of the Constitutional Court noted that the Court is ready to provide students interested in the Constitutional Law with opportunities for practical experience, which will assist them in their career advancement and professional development.
