Visit to the Republic of Azerbaijan
On July 3-5, 2023, by the invitation of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Azerbaijan, President of the Constitutional Court of Georgia Prof. Dr. Merab Turava and Judge Giorgi Kverenchkhiladze participated in the International Conference dedicated to the 25th Anniversary of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Azerbaijan. The topic of the conference was “Development of legislation through the application of constitutional norms”.
The event was attended by the presidents and justices of the Constitutional Court of Georgia as well as high-ranking officials of the Republic of Azerbaijan. The representatives of the Government of Azerbaijan Republic and foreign guests addressed the participants.
President of the Constitutional Court of Türkiye, President of the Constitutional Court of Serbia, President of the Constitutional Court of Kazakhstan and President of the Constitutional Court of Albania and others delivered speeches at the conference.
