Visit to the Republic of Azerbaijan
The Vice President of the Constitutional Court of Georgia Justice Vasil Roinishvili and the Secretary of the Court Justice Giorgi Tevdorashvili paid an official visit to Baku, the capital of the Republic of Azerbaijan on 16-18 July, 2025. They participated in the International Conference and solemn events dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the adoption of the Constitution of the Republic of Azerbaijan.00000
Two-day visit was opened with the International Conference on the theme: "Modern Trends in Ensuring Constitutional Supremacy through Constitutional Justice." The presidents and judges of Constitutional Courts from Europe and Asia, as well as representatives of the academia were among invited guests.
During the working session, the guests listened to the presentations and participated in interactive discussions. The Georgian delegation also took part in the debates.
The judges of the Constitutional Court of Georgia held introductory meetings with the President and members of the Constitutional Court of Azerbaijan. The colleagues expressed their interest and readiness to further enhance cooperation, partnership, and bilateral relations within both international and legal contexts.
