Visit to the Republic of Korea
On 13-22 November 2024, the staff employees of the Constitutional Court of Georgia: Mr. George Lomtadze, Head of the Court Secretariat, Mr. Nika Pirvelashvili, Senior Legal Advisor of the Department of Legal Provision and Research, and Mr. Vaja Samniashvili, Senior Advisor of the Economic Department participated in the “AI Digital Administration Course”, which was held in Seoul, the Republic of Korea. The event was organised by the Ministry of Science and ICT of the Republic of Korea and the National IT Industry Promotion Agency (NIPA).
The substantive part of the programme was devoted to various topical issues of information technology, in particular, an overview of the electronic litigation system, information security network and e-justice service of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Korea, as well as the government strategy of the Republic of Korea for digital governance, the use of open data, and the possibilities of using artificial intelligence in the process of digital governance. The foregoing subjects were presented in the light of examples based on the practical experience of the Republic of Korea. The programme of the visit also included institutional visits to the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Korea, as well as to the Digital Government Exhibition Hall located in the Sejong Government Complex and the Presidential Archives.
The visit was carried out within the framework of cooperation with the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Korea, with the support of the National IT Industry Promotion Agency of the Republic of Korea.
