Professor Richard Albert’s Book Presentation

Today, at the premises of the Constitutional Court of Georgia presentation of the book by the Professor from Texas University Richard Albert “Constitutional Amendments: Making, Breaking and Changing Constitutions” took place. The event was held in cooperation with the Constitutional Court, in the frame of the Joint International Summer School of Shota Rustaveli Batumi State University and Mykolas Romeris University: “Constitutional Democracy: Modem Challenges”.

Presentation was opened by the Vice President of the Constitutional Court of Georgia Mr. Teimuraz Tughushi, who addressed the guests. The event was attended by the Judges of the Constitutional Court of Georgia Mr. Merab Turava and Mr. Giorgi Kverenchkhilaze, as well as the Dean of the Faculty of Legal and Social Sciences of Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University Mr. Levan Jakeli and Associate Professor of the University, a Project Leader of the Summer School Mr. Malkhaz Nakashidze, invited guests, the representatives of academia from the USA and Europe.

Professor of Law of Texas University and William Stamps Farish Fund Mr. Richard Albert is an author of tenths of books and Chairperson of the International Forum of the Future of Constitutionalism. He delivers lectures in Constitutional Law, publishing books and articles on the issues of constitutional amendments. Professor Richard Albert has obtained the degree in Law and Political Study from Yale, Oxford and Harvard Universities.
