Memorandum of Understanding with Tbilisi State University
Today, a Memorandum of Understanding was concluded between the Constitutional Court of Georgia and Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University, which was signed by President of the Constitutional Court of Georgia Prof. Dr. Merab Turava and Rector of Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University Academician Jaba Samushia.
The aim of the Memorandum is to support forming a solid cooperation platform between the Constitutional Court of Georgia and Tbilisi State University, in the academic, educational and research direction.
In the frame of the memorandum, a joint project will be implemented, which will combine initiating publication activity, publishing a Legal Journal of the Constitutional Court, as well as planning joint conferences, public lectures, seminars, organizing student visits at the Court and supporting moot court sessions. Apart from this, organization of an annual educational school is also planned.
The memorandum signing ceremony was attended by the Judges of the Constitutional Court: Assoc. Prof. Giorgi Tevdorashvili and Prof. Giorgi Kverenchkhiladze, as well as professors and lecturers from Tbilisi State University.
