Public lecture at the Batumi branch of Grigol Robakidze University
On June 21, 2024, the President of the Constitutional Court of Georgia, Merab Turava, held a public lecture with the students of the Batumi branch of the University named after Grigol Robakidze.
During the lecture, the President of the Constitutional Court introduced the students to the powers of the Constitutional Court of Georgia and also talked about the constitutional and legal history of Georgia, the content of the basic law, the importance of human rights and basic freedoms, and reviewed several precedent decisions made by the Constitutional Court. The meeting took place in an interactive format and the audience had the opportunity to get answers to the questions.
