Nikoloz Shashkin
Former Judje of the Constitutional Court of GeorgiaBorn on September 24, 1941 in the city of Uman, Ukraine, into a military family.
Graduated from Tbilisi School No. 63.
In 1960-64, he studied at the Tbilisi Center for Physical Culture.
In 1970, he graduated from the Law Faculty of Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University.
In 1971, he began working at the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
He has been awarded the rank of captain. Over the years, he has been the Deputy Head of the General Supervision Department at the Prosecutor's Office of the Republic; Deputy Head of the Investigation Department; and Head of the Court Supervision Department.
In 1998, he was transferred to the Tbilisi Prosecutor's Office, where he worked in various positions. He was the Senior Advisor to the Ministry of Justice.
In 1999, by the decree of the President of Georgia, he was awarded the class rank of judge of the highest qualification class.
On July 2, 1996, the President of Georgia appointed him as a member of the Constitutional Court of Georgia.
From November 22, 1999 to November 25, 2004, he was elected Secretary of the Constitutional Court of Georgia.
He has a wife, two children and one grandchild.
