Otar Sichinava

Former Judje of the Constitutional Court of Georgia

Born on April 14, 1972 in Tbilisi.

In 1994 Graduated from the Faculty of Law of Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University.

In 1993-1996 Worked as a secretary of the Tbilisi Prosecutor's Office.

In 1996-1998 Was an intern at the Saburtalo District Prosecutor's Office of Tbilisi.

In 1999-2000 Worked as a lawyer at the Georgian Investment Center.

From 2000 to 2005, he worked as a laboratory assistant at the Department of History of Law of Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University.

In 2000-2002, he studied at the Faculty of Law of the University of Paris 8 within the framework of the Tempus program.

In 2005-2006, he was a member of the High Council of Justice of Georgia.

On June 26, 2006, he was appointed a member of the Constitutional Court of Georgia by the Supreme Court of Georgia.

On September 30, 2006, from the day of taking the oath, he began exercising the powers of a judge.

He speaks French, English, Latin, Russian and Italian.

He has a wife and two children.
