Presentation of USAID Rule of Law Program “Supporting Rule of Law at National and Local Level”
The President of the Constitutional Court of Georgia Prof. Dr. Merab Turava and the judges of the Constitutional Court of Georgia participated in the presentation of the USAID Rule of Law Program “Supporting the Rule of Law at National and Local Levels”, which was held at the Shota Rustaveli Batumi State University on April 1, 2022.
The event was attended by the Mission Director Mr. Peter Wibler of the USAID/Georgia; Vice-President of East-West Management Institute Mr. Mark Dietrich, Chairmen of Georgian Bar Association and Mediators’ Association, Head of Legal Aid Service as well as legal professionals and the representatives of academia.
The President of the Constitutional Court of Georgia addressed the guests with a speech. He made a particular focus on the importance of the program in the frame of which a number of activities are planned with the purpose of strengthening the capacity of the Constitutional Court and in general, the Judiciary.
