Summer School on Constitutional and Human Rights Law
Constitutional Court of Georgiainvites Bachelor’s and Master's students and recent graduates of law faculties to participate in the selection competition for the Summer School:
The Summer School Programme:
- Different Models of Judicial Review
- Constitutional Standards of Penal Policy
- Mass Surveillance and Human Rights Standards
- Internet Regulation and Human Rights
As part of the training, the participants of the Summer School will be introduced to the case law of the Constitutional Court of Georgia, as well as international courts, take part in the moot court sessions.
The summer school lectures will be conducted by Mr Péter Paczolay, Judge of the European Court of Human Rights and Honorary President of the Venice Commission; Professor Richard Vogler, University of Sussex; Dr Nora Ni Loideain, Director of the Information Law and Policy Centre at the Institute for Advanced Legal Studies (IALS), School of Advanced Study, University of London; specially invited guest Professor Lado Chanturia, Judge of the European Court of Human Rights as well as Judges of Constitutional Court of Georgia and Georgian prominent scholars.
Upon the completion of the summer school course, the most successful graduates will be offered paid internships at the Constitutional Court of Georgia.
General Requirements:
Applicants should be:
▪ law students or recent graduates of the law faculties of Georgian Universities
▪ fluent in English
The lectures by the invited international experts will be conducted in English.

Only shortlisted candidates will be invited for a test (English language and Law) and interview.
Summer school students will be provided with transportation and accommodation at Batumi Piazza Boutique Hotel
